Our response to the Corona Virus


To Our Most Valued Clients,

I am writing to you today regarding our response to the COVID-19 virus.

First of all, we at Mark P. Murphy & Associates, hope you and your family members are well, healthy and safe from harm’s way.  The health and wellbeing of our valued clients and associates are always our priority, and as we navigate the rapidly evolving corona virus (COVID-19) situation together, I want to share the extra precautions we’re taking to serve you.

For your safety and the safety of our staff, we encourage you to take advantage of our virtual services.  We can handle your initial inquiries via phone and email.  You can upload your documents securely and safely to our client portal (ShareFile).  In addition, we can deliver your tax return in the same way.

For our clients that are unable to use the virtual services, please call the office (614) 459- 3182, and we will be happy to come to you, for pick up and deliver your returns.

For our clients who wish to come into the office, we wanted to let you know our office entry procedures:

To keep face to face contact to a minimum, we are using the entry way as a drop off/pick up for your information.

Upon arrival, please call the office (614) 459-3182 and we will give you access or would be happy to send a staff member out to your car.

 

So far, the IRS has not extended the tax-related deadlines.  Until they do, it will be business as usual.  We are working as hard as we can to get your return processed and filed for you.  Please understand that if our office or community experiences significant disruptions due to this virus, we may be extending more returns than normal this year.
